Demonstration Schools

I am currently in Darwin having attended the official launch of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program at Alawa Primary School. Alawa is the Demonstration school here in the Territory, showcasing the complete program, where students in yeras 3-6 spend 45 minutes a week in the garden and 90 minutes a week in their kitchen. One of the roles of the Demonstration schools in each state & territory is to welcome visitors from other schools that are considering joining the program.
